Nick Preston

Role: Hamlet

Nick Preston hails from Campbell River on Vancouver Island, but has quickly made Vancouver his new home, and is now in the intermediate year of the BFA. UBC shows include Knives In Hens, Spoils of Troy, and Rhinoceros. Past favourite roles include Biloxi Blues (Don Carney), Dracula and The Wizard of Oz (Tin Man).

Why he’s interested in Hamletmachine:

Growing up involved primarily with musical theatre, Nick is discovering a whole new genre of movement in Hamletmachine. Being involved with a new type of theatre at UBC is exciting, and Ines’s passion and dedication to the show makes it a blast to work on. Though the work is still in progress, Nick knows the journey will an incredible ride. Thanks go to everyone who has put so much into the show!
